Beas river banks, highway embankments and slopes in Mandi district. Gabion boxes, revet mattresses, chain link, barbed wire and concertina coil, made in West Bengal by an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer.
Mandi stands on the Beas, and the highway through it up the valley runs between the river and steep slopes. In a heavy monsoon the Beas in spate erodes road embankments and bridge approaches, while slopes above the road slide and drop rock.
We supply contractors in Mandi and the Beas valley with gabion walls, revet mattresses, rockfall netting and fencing.
Gabion walls and mattresses where the river attacks the road.
Scour protection at abutments and approaches.
Gabion walls and netting above the highway.
Chain link and barbed wire for compounds and road edges.
The monsoon runs from about July to September. River and road works are built from October to June.
River-facing walls: boxes with heavier wire (3.00 mm galvanized or PVC coated) — the Beas carries boulders.
Slopes: 10×12 boxes and 8×10 rockfall netting.
Fencing: chain link to IS 2721, welded mesh to IS 4948, barbed wire to IS 278 and concertina coil — galvanized or PVC coated.
Send the clause from your drawing or BOQ and we will confirm the mesh type, wire diameters and coating against it before quoting.
Orders for north India are dispatched from our West Bengal works on the national road and rail routes — usually Jangalpur, near Kolkata — in full truckloads, delivered to site. Send your BOQ or drawing with the site location and we will quote a delivered price.
