Delhi's gabion work follows its water. The Yamuna floodplain needs bank and embankment protection, and the city's big storm drains carry monsoon run-off that scours unlined beds and outfalls. To the south, the Aravalli ridge has eroding gullies and check-dam programmes, and new roads and expressways across the NCR need culvert, slope and landscaping walls.
